I have divided you in four groups. These are the words for each group:
Group 1: Creep(s), light(ed), signify(ing)
Group 2: Dusty, poor, strut(s)
Group 3: Fret(s), idiot, tell and told
Group 4: Nothing, fury, sound
The words are from Macbeth's soliloquy in 5.5. Your job is to get all the available definitions. Remember that you have to apply restrictions in terms of when the definitions were in use.
You must read the soliloquy to figure out the part of speech of each word. Is the word used as a noun or a verb? Is it an adjective or adverb? That way you can select the correct form of the word.
Find the definitions, select, copy, paste them into a word document, and print four (4) copies. Remember that you are doing only part of the homework, which means that you have to complete each other's homework.
