ACT -

This website provides more specific information on the ACT. Specific information regarding the addition of the optional ACT Writing Assessment, which will be implemented in February 2005, can be found here.

The College Board-

This website can give you information on the SAT I and SAT II Tests, as well as other helpful college planning information. Click here for specific information regarding the new PSAT and new SAT, which will be implemented in the 2004-2005 academic school year (affecting current sophmores and freshmen)

Financial Aid Information Page -

This is an exhaustive list of sites and organizations offering financial aid to college-bound students.

National Association of College Admission Counseling -

College-bound students and their parents will find a "Prep for College Calendar," college fair information, and articles on topics ranging from interviews to essays.

Peterson's -

Once you've narrowed down the choices, this is the place to go to find out more about each school. Includes information about applying online and college financing. Also a nice place to start looking for professional, graduate and summer programs.

U.S. News & World Report -

Those further along in the application process will want to check out U.S. News & World Report's online version of the popular college ranking survey. The 1998 college rankings offer almost every possible detail about U.S. Colleges, including-cost and a photo gallery depicting student life. The "U.S. News" site is a good site for researching nearly every aspect of a particular college or university.

Yahoo -

This includes a quick college search program (click on education) that lets you sift out colleges and universities by major, size, location, and "weirdness" (for example, whether it has a campus wide computer network and whether it's accessible from dorms). Also has links to other resources.
